Jim Klotter is the State Historian of Kentucky and professor emeritus of hstory at Georgetown College. He is the author of 10 books, including "Henry Clay: The Man Who Would Be President" (Oxford University Press, 2018) and "Kentucky Justice, Southern Humor, and American Manhood: Understanding the Life and Death of Richard Reid (LSU Press, 2003).
